This is the perfect recipe for all those who do not want to use products containing gluten, artificial colors, artificial flavors, etc., in preparation of desserts. Here we have a recipe that is about making pudding from proso millet. If you do not use cow’s milk, pudding can be prepared from herbaceous milk.
150 grams of proso millet
1/2 l of almond or coconut milk
1/2 l of water
1 teaspoon of agavinous syrup or other sweeteners as desired
Nuts according to your preference
A pinch of salt
2 tablespoons cocoa or 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Method of Preparation:
Bring water and milk together and add agave syrup or other sweetener. Add the salted proso to the bowl in which water and milk are cooked and cook for 30 to 40 minutes at minimum fire. When it is cooked add the nuts and put the mix in blender and blend. Depending on your taste, add cocoa or vanilla. Serve in the pans and let it cool. After cooling, you can sprinkle with crushed coconut or sliced nuts.
